Contractor appointed for first land stages

We are pleased to announce the appointment of BMD Urban as the civil contractor to deliver the first stages of land at Lilywood Landings. Following our exciting sod-turning event earlier this month, the experienced national contracting group is already getting on with the job of building the first community for the new city of Waraba.

The initial precinct of Lilywood Landings, to be named Merryvale, will feature a wide range of new home sites alongside a dedicated green corridor and proposed everyday services such as a childcare centre, swim school and service station. Lennium Group Development Manager Ian Worthington said BMD had wasted no time getting started on civil works at Lilywood Landings.  “After many years of careful planning and preparation, we are delighted to see our contractor now mobilised on site and starting the job of bringing our vision for this community to life,” he said.  “This includes the construction of the vital infrastructure needed not only for Lilywood Landings but for the whole of the Waraba.”

BMD CEO Scott Power said the group had been changing the shape of Australia through the delivery of new residential communities for the past 45 years.  “BMD brings our expertise to fulfil the first five stages of the Lilywood estate, and critical infrastructure to support future expansion across Caboolture West,” he said.  “With a collaborative approach to contracting, BMD is eager to help Lennium achieve its core objectives of progressing the Waraba community within the fast-growing Moreton Bay region.”

The first completed lots at Lilywood Landings are expected to be registered later this year with the first homes starting construction prior to the end of 2024. We look forward to bringing you regular updates on our construction progress here and on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LilywoodLandings.
