26 Nov Construction of Lilywood Landings hits top gear
It’s full steam ahead with the latest construction activity focusing on water infrastructure and driveways – paving the way for the new city of Waraba.
As Lilywood Landings races ever closer to completion, significant progress has been made across multiple stages of the community.
Road construction and surfacing are advancing as scheduled, with preparations for concrete driveways completed in laneway and cross over areas. This includes commencement of the widening of Caboolture River Road to enhance traffic flow and accessibility.
Meanwhile, the water main is now in place, ready to provide our future community with a crucial supply of drinking water, and sewer infrastructure has also been installed, extending essential services to each home site. This includes the commencement of Dobson Lane sewer installation, which will lay the groundwork for future connections.
Earthworks to the stormwater culvert have also progressed, ensuring proper drainage and flood mitigation, and earthworks for the bio-retention basin are now finished, with the area prepared for vegetation and filtration systems.
In addition, preparations for the installation of boulder retaining walls in specific areas around the community have been completed.
As construction continues, upcoming works scheduled include:
- The finalisation of sewer structures
- Completion of Dobson Lane sewer works
- Installation of sewer infrastructure for Stage 2
- Footpath construction
- Water meter installation
- Installation of boulder retaining walls
Lennium Group Development Manager Ian Worthington said every aspect of construction was an investment in a resilient, well-designed community.
“We’re thrilled to see Lilywood Landings taking shape so quickly, with every stage bringing us closer to the vibrant community we envisioned,” he said.
“It’s been a big few months, and I’m proud of the team’s hard work and dedication as they complete each milestone.”
With so much going on, Lilywood Landings will soon be completed. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for regular updates on our construction progress.
