26 Nov Construction ramps up at Lilywood Landings as we deliver essential services for the community
Construction is now very well advanced at Lilywood Landings as we get the site ready for the first residents in the new city of Waraba.
The first land settlements are expected to complete in early 2025, followed by the start of construction on our first homes. That means there’s no time to take a break, with work continuing full steam ahead for civil contractor BMD Urban.
Through the centre of the first land release, trunk sewer and stormwater construction has been the focus in recent months, ensuring that the community is equipped with all the essential services.
In addition, we have been busy constructing the services and minor streets, paving the way for easy access and connectivity throughout the Lilywood Landings community.
With kerb and channel now complete and lots being top dressed, we will soon be able to see the land and streets taking shape.
As construction continues, over the next few months significant and complex works will begin to construct the new intersection at the entry to Lilywood Landings, as well as focusing on Lilywood Boulevard.
Meanwhile, 31 homes are now locked into the Display Village, which is on track to open in 2025. This is the first display village in the new city of Waraba and will feature diverse designs crafted by some of South-East Queensland’s most respected home builders.
Ian Worthington Development Manager at Lennium Group said he was excited for the future.
“There’s a lot more to come, and we’re thrilled about what lies ahead for this growing community,” he said.
“We’re setting the foundation not just for homes but for a community that will thrive for generations. With every milestone we complete, we’re one step closer to delivering a vibrant, connected neighbourhood where people can build their future.”
